Jerod Womack
Jerod Womack comes to Mansfield ISD from Waxahachie where he has been serving as the Executive Director of Athletics. Prior to Waxahachie, Jerod served as the Athletic Director at Stephenville ISD & Jim Ned CISD where he served as the head football coach and Athletic Director. He has also worked for Abilene ISD, Brownwood ISD, & Salado ISD.
With 22 years in public education and degrees from University of Mary Hardin Baylor and Tarleton State University, Womack brings a multitude of experience that will lend to his success at leading our premier athletic programs to continued growth and success. He is dedicated to giving all students the opportunity to participate in a highly competitive, comprehensive, and innovative athletic programs by employing dedicated professionals and maintaining standards that lend to programs of distinction.
Coach Womack and his wife Mindi have five children (Hudson, Grant, Brooks, Bentley, & Spencer) who will also become students within our district.
